Summer Tutoring Program

AOTK hosts several mission trips a year. Every mission trip is different, but we can guarantee that no matter where you go, you will come back with a new perspective and with a greater appreciation of the many blessings you have. Mission trips allow you to get out of your comfort zone and connect with new cultures and traditions.

We believe there are four main things that mission trips do:

Dates: June 22 - July 11, 2014

Cost: $100.00 + Teacher Volunteers purchase their own airfare

Army of the Kind will cover transportation, meals and lodging

Group Size: 12 maximum

Trip Details: AOTK is looking for Educators to volunteer to teach math, reading, writing and English to 30 amazing boys ages 4-17. You will work together with a team of teachers to develop a 8am to 3pm education plan that will help them have a productive summer. You will also be involved in helping to plan recreational activities.

Cost: $1400.00* p/p

Group Size: 25 maximum

Trip Details: The team will be volunteering with daily tasks at our boys orphanage and our nutrition center. They will be helping to cook and feed the children in the community as well as painting murals on our building and some possible construction.

Cost: $1400.00*

Group Size: 25 maximum

Trip Details: This is a work trip in which we will be doing hands on construction at a special needs orphanage. Construction will include building ramps, painting, putting beds together etc.

Our mission trip costs range from $1200-$2700.00. The price depends on what country you would like to visit. Dominican Republic and Haiti costing the least, Peru and Africa being a little more pricey. We do our best to accomodate everyones budget.
